Jenna DeAngeles Artist Jenna DeAngele uses her paintbrush to convey emotion. Obsessed with form and color, Jenna creates images that celebrate femininity, the luminous beauty of the female form, and the vast courage and grace that all women embody. During her college years, Jenna took art clasees while majoring in Psychology. She then furthered her artistic education with extensive travels throughout Europe and the Middle East, eventually returning home to study at Art Center, Pasadena. From a rich pedigree of talent; Jenna's great-great grandfather was Queen Victoria's well-known watercolorist, John Steeple, and she's related to Shelley, the poet. Jenna, who considers herself a self-taught - and family taught - artist, is the wife of Dr. Joseph Abouzeid, mother to Nicholas (11), and is most recently a breast cancer survivor. "You put your head down and go through it, courageously." Now safely past treatment, Jenna is back to diving into her latest project - a one-woman show at the Judith Kaufman Gallery, in North Hollywood, which has been held over indefinitely.
