Hi, my name is Jenna DeAngeles; I am a California-born redhead with turquoise eyes. I’m a mom, wife, artist, author, and most notably, I can’t sit still. I have to do something with my hands all the time; drawing or stitching or painting or making jewelry, cards, placemats, sachets, soap, a cake, whatever strikes! Dear Hubby says I make espresso nervous.
Dear Hubby, Joseph, is an Orthopedic Surgeon, born in Lebanon, serious, and perfect – scoring in the top ten Baccalaureates in his entire country. He speaks and reads three languages but doesn’t know what “going commando” means (hahaha) … but he makes me a perfectly frothed and sweetened cappuccino every morning, therefore, the man is a God.
Our son, Nicholas, is twelve years old. He attends a school for the highly gifted but can’t remember where he left his backpack. When he was five years old, he wrote a Valentine to me that said: “Mommy, your love is like glue that never unsticks.”
I, Jenna, the artist, believe that making something for yourself, or your family, is not only a gift – it is a way to create memories. Creating is a way to enhance the history of your love and to affirm the connectedness with others who mean something special to you.
"Creating" has made the best times even richer (and gotten me through the hardest of times, too!). That’s why I continue to nurture this website with new ways to give and create; gifts, décor for your home, holiday ideas and ways for you to make TODAY stand out, to celebrate all the people you hold dear.
